ETAS Group

The ETAS Group provides development and diagnostic tools for the development and service of automotive ECUs.

Business

A etas Group in the company's legal sense, there is not, however, enter the ETAS GmbH and the Vetronix Corporation, both 100 % Bosch daughters, now collectively referred to as members of the ETAS Group as a provider of software and hardware for ECU development in the Automotive industry on ( formerly known as Vetronix ETAS Group ). There are also branches in the vicinity of most automobiles development sites in the world, the mostly organized as independent companies and also direct Bosch daughters ( ETAS SAS, Saint- Ouen, France; ETAS Inc., Ann Arbor, USA; ETAS Automotive Technology, Shanghai, China; ETAS KK, Yokohama, Japan; ETAS Ltd, Osbaldwick York, United Kingdom; . ETAS Automotive India Private Ltd., Bangalore, India, . ETAS Korea Co., Ltd., Seoul, South Korea). . A separate annual report published by ETAS GmbH since the full reintegration of 2007 stops. The company occurring as ETAS Group indicate the total number of employees to 680.

Founded as a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH in 1994, the ETAS GmbH ( Engineering Tools, Application and Services) in 2003 with the companies LiveDevices Ltd. closed. in York, UK, and Vetronix in Santa Barbara, California, USA, the ETAS Group with about 700 employees, three-digit million turnover and based in Stuttgart. ETAS operates the following international locations: France, Great Britain, USA, Japan, China, India, South Korea, Brazil, Russia, Sweden and Italy.

ETAS supplies automotive manufacturers and their suppliers of products and services for automotive embedded systems, such as development tools ( in the form of software and hardware) for control units in cars and trucks, real-time operating systems and diagnostic tools for the same. Such tools and components are used since the early 90's in the automotive industry, with the goal of shorter development times, higher software quality and better error analysis.
