ETB Wohnbau Baskets

The ETB housing Baskets are a basketball club in the city of Essen.

As ETB SW Essen 1975 the club was a founding member of the 2nd Basketball Bundesliga Nord. In the 1970s there was with SGN food / RUWA also an Essene representatives in the National Basketball League. This team withdrew after relegation in 1976 completely out of the basketball, whereupon most of the players moved on to the second division ETB.

The ETB increased in 2008 after the rise in the Pro B directly into the Pro A on and secured the championship title of the Pro as your home games wearing the residential Baskets at Sportpark Am Hallo in Essen, the hall has 2,360 seats and 226 standing places.
