Eu'Vend

Eu'Vend (official subtitles The international trade fair for the vending industry ) is organized every two years by the Koelnmesse on the fair grounds in Cologne Deutz. It is open to trade visitors only. The last Eu'Vend took place from 19 to 21 September, 2013, the next will be held from 24 to September 26, 2015 in Hall 9 .. Eu'Vend is organized by Koelnmesse. She is supported by the German Federal Association of the German Vending Association ( BDV ) and of the European Vending Association (EVA). 2011, the Eu'Vend the first time in conjunction with coffeena - (official subtitled " The international coffee fair" ) instead. 2013 was its official partner for the first time, continuing education, the Special Coffee Association of Europe ( SCAE ).

Exhibitors offer

The offer Eu'Vend covers the areas of

  • Machines ( including hot and cold drinks vending machines, water coolers, snack and food vending machines, reverse vending machines, change machines, vending machines for non-food products (so-called vending machine ) )
  • VENDING (coffee, tea and cold drinks, food, other filling products )
  • Vending cups
  • Payment systems for vending machines ( coin changer, bill acceptors, cashless payment systems )
  • Machines accessories / components and spare parts in and around the machine ( eg water filter)
  • Services for vending machine operators ( money counting and sorting machines, service for payment systems, machines maintenance, transportation for vending machines and filling )
  • Kiosk systems

Since 2009, visitors will be presented from the out- of-home sector not just the individual components of the manufacturer. Meanwhile, also vending machine operators (called operator) presented at Eu'Vend that lace from these items a complete service.

Young companies

To support young innovative companies in marketing their products on the world market, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi ) participation at selected trade fairs. Since the Eu'Vend since the 2009 event meets the requirements of the Ministry, 2011 20 companies were able to benefit from the promotion. Thus, the Ministry takes up to 80% of the investment cost of the exhibitor of up to 7,500 €. Companies that wish to participate in the program may, inter alia, be a maximum of 10 years old, employ more than 10 million € annual turnover or less than 50 employees, and must present an innovation. For the event 2013, this funding was granted again and exhibitors coffeena, provided they have met the requirements of the Ministry.

History

Up to and including 2001, the interested exhibitors presented their products at Anuga. Then the industry decided an independent platform - Eu'Vend - to start. At the premiere in 2003, already 178 companies from 13 countries. A total of 3,968 trade visitors attended the three -day event from 49 countries to Cologne.

In the following years, the fair continued to grow. When Eu'Vend & coffeena in September 2013 featured 217 exhibitors from 23 countries from their goods. The foreign share is now 42%. With some 5,000 visitors from 60 countries ( international share 34%) Eu'Vend & coffeena is the vending and coffee fair with the highest share of international exhibitors and visitors.
