Euan Murray

Euan Alistair Murray ( born August 7, 1980 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish rugby union player who is used to the position of the pillar. He is part of the Scottish national team and actively promote the Northampton Saints.

Murray went through all the youth national teams of Scotland and was committed in 2001 by the Glasgow Hawks. In 2003 he moved to the Glasgow Warriors and became the professional players in the Magners League. In his first game against Cardiff he put his first and only attempt in this competition. In 2005 he ran for the first time on for the Scottish national team against Romania. In the following years he secured a regular place and came, among others, to four inserts in the World Cup 2007.

In 2009 he was nominated for the British and Irish Lions tour of South Africa. With the Saints winning in the same year the European Challenge Cup. He was injured in the run-up to the first game against South Africa and had to leave early the tour of the Lions.
