Eudemus of Rhodes

Eudemus of Rhodes (Greek: Εὔδημος; Latin Eudemus; * 370 BC in Rhodes, Greece, † 300 BC ) was an ancient Greek philosopher. He is considered the founder of the History of Science and one of the main disciples of Aristotle, whose works he edited.

Eudemos own studies devoted to, among other things of Aristotelian ethics.

Reported are only fragments: Physics (used by Simplicius ), analytics, history of geometry, arithmetic, astronomy, and perhaps also of theology.
