Eudokia Ingerina

Ingerina Eudocia (Greek Εὐδοκία Ἰγγερίνα, * to 840, † 882 ) was Byzantine emperor Michael III mistress. and later Empress of Byzantium.

Biography

Eudocia was the daughter of Ingar, a Varangian, and his wife Martinakia. To 855 the 15-year old Eudocia was the mistress of the Byzantine Emperor Michael III. ( 839-867 ).
