Eugene Sseppuya

Andrew Eugene Sseppuya (often but also Eugene Sepuya; born April 1, 1983 in Kampala ) is a Ugandan footballer who is active with North Queensland Fury and the Uganda national football team.

Club career

Sseppuya began his career at Sports Club Villa in Uganda. Later he moved to the USA to play at Alabama A & M College. His first professional club was the Colorado Rapids, where he played only one game. 2005 moved to the Virginia Beach Mariners Sseppuya who played in the USL First Division. Eugene Sseppuya joined in 2007 the Armenian Club Bananz to Yerevan, at he received a two- year contract. After he played no match for the club, the contract was terminated. After a year without a club he signed for FK Vojvodina Novi Sad. During the winter break of 2008 /09 he went to FK Cukaricki Stankom.

On 3 October 2009 he signed a one -year contract with FK Mladi Radnik. On March 16, 2010 Sseppuya signed a contract with the Lithuanian club FK Sūduva Marijampolė, for whom he played for three months. In August 2010 he signed a contract with North Queensland Fury.

National

Eugene Sseppuya graduated from 2007 to 2008 six caps for Uganda, including five appearances and two goals in qualifying for the World Cup 2010.
