Use

August Schumann wrote in 1815 in heads of state, postal and newspaper Encyclopedia of Saxony on the River Eula as: " Its water is driving six major mills. " Of which today is no longer in operation.

In contrast, the entire river length is still advertised as Angel track and is run by anglers Leipzig eV. The fishing classification of the river provides information on the water quality. The Eula is a cyprinid, that is, it has the second highest level of quality. Salmonid quality is not achieved because the summer heat in the open field corridor and the remaining wastewater loading oppose this. In the Eula small carp and tench are in addition to white fish to be found that come from netting fish located at the Eula inflows rearing ponds in the creek.

For the water- technical maintenance and care of Eula, which is classified as waters of the first order in the district Leipziger Land, the Flussmeisterei Borna is responsible.
