Eulenbis

Eulenbis is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland- Palatinate. It belongs to the Weilerbach. Eulenbis is a nationally recognized tourist.

Geography

Eulenbis is located about 13 km north- west of Kaiserslautern. The west of the town lying Owl's Head has a height of 422 meters, Eulenbis is the highest village in the Weilerbach.

The municipality also includes the hamlet mosquito mill and Lower Pfeifermühle.

History

The first documentary mention as Ulengebeiß dates from 1380th

The local council in Eulenbis consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.
