Eunice Jepkorir

Eunice Jepkorir Kertich ( born February 17, 1982 in Eldama Ravine ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner and obstacle.

In 2004, she finished seventh at the World Cross Country Championships. After that, she was successful in various German road races. In 2004 and 2005 she won the Paderborn Easter Run over 10 km, 2004, she broke the Würzburg Residence running on the same route with 31:38 min the twelve -year-old course record of Tegla Loroupe, and the same year she won the Kassel City Run ( 5 km). In 2006, she presented course records at the night of Borgholzhausen ( 25:27 min, 5 miles), at the Darmstadt city run and at the Baden- Marathon ( 1:12:38 h, half marathon ) on. In the road race World Championships 2006 on 20 km in Debrecen she placed 14th in 1:06:47 h and brought to the Kenyan team gold.

At the World Athletics Championships 2007 in Osaka she could win the bronze medal in this discipline.

They celebrated their biggest success in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, where she won the silver medal in a new personal best time of 9:07,41 minutes behind winner Gulnara Galkina the superior.
