Euphorbia aeruginosa is a species of the genus Euphorbia (Euphorbia ) in the family of Euphorbiaceae ( Euphorbiaceae ).

Description

The succulent Euphorbia aeruginosa is a maximum of 15 cm high dwarf shrub with underground main stem, which turns into a thickened root. It is branched numerous in the basal region, towards the tip but are also found individual branches. The upright branches by measuring 5-9 mm in cross section and are weak square. Its surface is bright to blue- green and indistinctly segmented. The branches may occasionally be rotated spirally or seitenkonkav. The copper-colored spine labels are 5-7 mm long and 3 mm wide. The hazel thorns are paired, but not fused. 20 mm above the thorns sit rudimentary, short-lived leaves.

The sessile yellow cyathia can be found in groups of three at the ends of branches. You through measure about 3 mm and containing a nectary.
