Euphorion of Chalcis

Euphorion (c. 276 BC in Chalcis in Euboea, † 225 BC) was a Greek poet and writer of Hellenism. Except prosaic works, he wrote epic poems, elegies and epigrams in bolted expression and darker language. Euphorion died as a librarian of the Seleucid king Antiochus III.
