The Eurasian National University Gumilev, short ENU (Russian Евразийский национальный университет имени Л Н Гумилёва, .. .. Kazakh Л Н Гумилев атындағы Еуразия ұлттық университеті ) is a university in the Kazakh capital Astana. It is named after the Russian historian and ethnologist Lev Gumilev.

The University was founded in 1996 on the initiative of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, as two already existing, higher Bildungseinrichten in the city, the Pedagogical Institute and the Engineering Institute, were combined into a university. According to various university rankings, it is the best Kazakh University today.
