Eureka (organization)

EUREKA is a European research initiative for application-oriented research and development in international project cooperations. It provides companies and scientific institutions, the framework for cross-border co-operation on innovative and market-oriented and individual topics.

EUREKA was established in 1985. Currently includes 40 states and the European Commission to the full members: In addition to all the member countries of the European Union, these are Iceland, Israel, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Monaco, Norway, Russia, San Marino, Switzerland, Serbia, Ukraine and Turkey.
