Eurest

The German company Eurest ( complete: Eurest Germany GmbH) is an operator of restaurants operating with headquarters in Eschborn. In 2012, the company achieved a turnover of 686 million Euro with around 18,500 employees.

Eurest provides daily around 270,000 guests in the run restaurants, canteens, coffee bars and shops more than 700 customers. This is Eurest market leader in Germany, followed by Aramark.

After ten years of existence Eurest had 1,500 employees, a turnover of the equivalent of 55 million euros for 111 customers. The French Accor Group acquired Eurest 1991. The number of employees increased to over 5,300. Accor sold in 1999 to the British Eurest Compass Group. By the year 2005, the number of employees increased to over 9,000. On 1 October 2006, the HSG maximum service Gastronomie GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, merged Eurest Germany GmbH. Eurest held 100 % of the shares in HSG maximum service Gastronomie GmbH since the first of January 2001.

In 2008, Eurest has a turnover of 602 million euros. The following year of 2009, sales rose to 614 million euros and the number of employees to 13,800. With the acquisition of Bremer Menu Bring Menke service in 2011, the company expanded its product portfolio and increased the daily food number by 10,000.
