EuroBasket 1951

The 7th European Basketball Championship of Men ( officially: Euro Basket 1951) took place from 3 to 12 May 1951 in Paris. After their EM abstinence, 1949, the USSR repeated in their second participation in the tournament the gold triumph of 1947, when she was able to prevail again in the final against Czechoslovakia. As now two-time EM champion drew the Soviet team thus equal to the number of title wins with Lithuania. Behind silver medalist Czechoslovakia won the bronze medal hosts France.
