Eurobowl
The Euro Bowl is the final of the European Football League (EFL ) in American football. Host is the European Federation of American Football ( EFAF ). The winner received from 1989 to 1999 Ulrico - Lucarelli Trophy, named after former Italian President of the Association Ulrico Lucarelli ( † 27 April 1990), was previously called the Golden Helmet Trophy. Since 2000 there is no more challenge cup.
Total so far 14 teams from seven countries have won the Euro Bowl. Record winners are the Vienna Vikings with five Euro Bowl victories. In each case three times the Swarco Raiders Tirol, the Hamburg Blue Devils and the Bergamo Lions were successful. Sorted by country Austria leads with eight titles, followed by Germany and Italy, seven with four wins.
Since 2012, the final of Europe's most important titles in American football at club level of EUR Sport 2 will be broadcast live.
The Euro Bowl was held in 2013 in Innsbruck on July 6. There were with the Vikings and the Raiders against the two most successful teams in the past ten years.
