Eurolines

Euro Lines is an association of 32 European bus companies that maintain a pan-European long-distance bus network. The merger will operate under Euro Lines organization IVZW as " International Non -profit-making " ( IVoG / IVZW / AISBL ) under Belgian law with seat in the Metrologielaan 6 in 1130 Brussels.

In Germany, the German Touring GmbH, Austria in the Blaguss group and in Switzerland Alsa Eggmann partner of Euro Lines. At a large number of European partner companies, Veolia Transport is involved, including 100% in France, Portugal, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Network

The distance coaches are particularly in Eastern Europe, one of the main transport in the cross-border traffic. Due to the often very low compared to rail or air fares and trips to the beaches in southern Europe or cities such as London or Paris are at a budget-conscious clientele successfully (among young people). With the Euro Lines Pass travelers can discover 50 cities in 21 countries; passports have a validity of 15 or 30 days.

The network now covers almost the whole of Europe from Norway to Greece and from Portugal to Russia. As the first non- European countries, Morocco and Kazakhstan are served. The lines are released in Germany, France and Italy on links for national traffic.

With EuroBusExpress there was a similar, but much smaller, merger. In Eastern Europe, the comparable Ecolines composite exists.
