Europapress Holding

The Europa Press Holding ( EPH ) is the largest newspaper and magazine publisher in Croatia, based in Zagreb. Since December 1998, the German WAZ media group holds a 49 % stake in EPH.

In the EPH among others, the second largest daily newspaper Jutarnji list appear ( average circulation 115,000 copies ), the sports paper Sportske Novosti (circulation: 40,000 copies), the daily business newspaper Dnevnik, the weeklies globe and Gloria. For this, the Croatian branch of Playboy and Cosmopolitan to be laid. In publishing a total of 18 journal titles appear with an average total circulation of about 660,000 copies.

The EPH is also involved with the help of the German WAZ media group at the Slobodna Dalmacija. 34.63 % of the group which was previously in the possession of the Croatian state were that bought for 24.5 million kuna, for further 83.46 million kuna took over the EPH in 2005 a total of 70 % of the Slobodna Dalmacija.

Ninoslav Pavić is holding a 51% shareholder of the Europa Press. This makes it the most powerful man in the Croatian media scene.
