European Cup (disambiguation)
As a European Cup or European Cup is called a European level club teams in some sports and national teams or even in individual sports discharged sporting competition. History

In the sport of ski mountaineering since 1992 are the International Council for Ski Mountaineering Competitions ( ISMC ) of the European Cup in ski mountaineering.

Floorball
Euro Floorball Cup
In floorball, there is a Euro Floorball Cup, held annually ( between 2000 and 2008 was the bi-annual event held ) and is organized by the International Floorball Federation (IFF ). The Cup has one qualifying round which will be held in three groups of three qualifiers and the actual European Cup then play another 6 teams with. The Cup will be held also at a location in about 5 days.

Organisers of the UEFA club competitions in rugby union are the Six Nations the Organizing Committee. There are currently two competitions:
Heineken Cup
The highest European competition with 24 participants is currently the Heineken Cup, called in France due to strict alcohol advertising laws and sometimes as an abbreviation only H Cup. Does not include German, Austrian and Swiss clubs as they play far below this level. The game is played between late October and mid-May. The competition ends with a finale on May 25, 2008 in Cardiff. The first time was a European Cup competition 1961/62 played, then played by the FIRA -AER. First winner was AS Béziers in France. 1995/96 started then after 25 years still under the name of European Rugby Cup again a European competition, now known as the sponsor name " Heineken Cup". First winner and record winner here is Stade Toulousain from France with three titles. The winner qualifies for the next Heineken Cup.

European Challenge Cup
The second highest European competition with currently 20 participants, the European Challenge Cup. Among them are also no German, Austrian and Swiss clubs. The game is played between late October and mid-May. The competition ends with a finale on May 25, 2008. The first time was the European Cup competition held in 1996/97. First winner was CS Bourgoin- Jallieu from France. Record winner are from England coming NEC Harlequins with two titles. The winner qualifies for the next Heineken Cup.

Volleyball
Host the Volleyball European Cup competitions, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball ( CEV). There are currently three competitions:
Champions League
The Champions League is the highest European Cup competition in volleyball. For the greatest success from the German perspective, made in 2007, the winner VfB Friedrichshafen. Current Champions (2011/ 12) VK Zenit -Kazan and Fenerbahçe SK.
CEV Cup
In CEV Cup, the second highest European Cup competition 2012 Dynamo Moscow won in the men's and Yamamay Busto Arsizio from Italy in the women.
Challenge Cup
In the Challenge Cup, the lowest-ranking European Cup competition 2012 Tytan Częstochowa triumphed in the men's and Lokomotiv Baku with women.
Athletics
In the field of athletics Athletics European Cup has been held since 1965. 2009, a complete redesign was made, and created the track and field team championship.
Winter sports
In almost all Olympic individual sports of winter sports such as biathlon, alpine skiing and ski jumping, the European Cup will be played. These are then combined with Asiencup and other Continental Cup after the World Cup, the second highest class. Exception is the Ladies COC, which takes the place as the highest class ladies ski jumping because of the missing World Cup.
