EFP has always tried over the years to address the critical issue of better marketing and promotion of European films. The network supports the European film through joint initiatives and respected and encouraged at the same time the individuality and diversity of individual, national film cultures in Europe.

An important characteristic of EFP, which makes the organization unique is its commitment in the field of networking. The EFP network is very valuable in developing and maintaining relationships with diverse individuals, groups and institutions that share common interests and goals, as well as for the ongoing exchange of technical information, ideas and support. It also offers different opportunities for the integration of professional groups under the various initiatives and events.
