The European Grand Prix is a Formula 1 race, which was held in different European countries.

In general, the International Automobile Federation FIA awards in the Formula 1 World Championship in each country only once the title of " Grand Prix ". History

Originally it was the " European Grand Prix " ( Grand Prix d'Europe ) is a honorary title in Formula 1, which was also awarded a race. 1993 Donington Park was near Castle Donington in the UK venue for the Grand Prix. This was followed in 1994 and 1997, the Circuito de Jerez in the Andalusian town of Jerez de la Frontera as the venue.
