European Robotics Platform

EUROP ( European Robotics Technology Platform, European robotics platform) is a network of European companies and organizations of robotics. The aim of the initiative is to strengthen research and development of robotic technology in Europe. EUROP was founded in 2005 and is supported by the European Commission, in 2009 a research agenda for robotics in Europe has been published.

Part of the effort is the development of a European Research Agenda ( SRA, European Strategic Research Agenda), which is to focus the European robotics research on central issues. On 7 July 2009 the research agenda under the title " Robotic Visions to 2020 and beyond - The Strategic Research Agenda for robotics in Europe, 07/2009 " published.
