European route E762

The European Route 762 (abbreviated E 762 ) runs through the states of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania and is nearly 400 kilometers long.

The road begins in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, via Nikšić to the border with Montenegro and on to the Montenegrin capital, Podgorica. From there, the E 762 continues across the border to Albania Tuzi at Han i Hotit. The E 762 will come from there over to the Albanian capital Tirana to Shkodra continued.

As a north-south route in the Western Balkans connects major cities. In the southern part it is the only major road in the coastal plain.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina it is signposted as SH1 as M18, in Montenegro also as M18 and in Albania.

It crosses Europe, the road E 65 and E 80 in Podgorica and branches in Sarajevo from the E 73 from. The sequel to the south is the E 852, which runs from Tirana to Ohrid.
