The European Training Foundation (ETF, English European Training Foundation ) is a on 7 May 1990, by Regulation ( EEC) No 1360 /90 ( recast by Regulation ( EEC) No 1339 /90), by the European Council EU agency founded and built in 1994. It has its headquarters in Turin, Italy.
The Foundation will primarily work outside the borders of the European Union. In Europe, projects in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey are supported. Outside of Europe, projects are in Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Moldova, Morocco, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Objective of the ETF projects is to promote the national systems of education and training in the partner countries outside the European Union.
