Europoort

The Europoort is a 3,700 -acre port and industrial area and forms part of the Port of Rotterdam. He goes from Rotterdam to the mouth of the Meuse in the North Sea (40 km). Located just south of the New Waterway at the mouth of Calandkanals in the North Sea. Together with the Botlek, an area with similar purposes to the east, the Europoort the largest port for petrochemicals worldwide.

The port of Rotterdam itself was until 2004 the largest port in the world and is currently by far the largest in Europe.
