Europrop International

Europrop International GmbH (EPI ) is a joint venture of four European engine manufacturers, MTU Aero Engines, Snecma, Rolls -Royce and Industria de Turbo Propulsores. Headquartered in Munich, an extension can be found in Madrid. The only product is the EPI TP400 -D6 turboprop for the A400M.

The company's shares were set establishing time as follows:

  • MTU Aero Engines ( 28%), Germany
  • Rolls- Royce (28 %), Great Britain
  • Snecma (28 %), France
  • Industria de Turbo Propulsores ( Sener Aeronáutica and Rolls- Royce ) (16 %), Spain

The work shares in the TP400 are divided according to the order quantity of each nation. The current figures are Snecma 32.2 % (including Techspace Aero), Rolls -Royce 25% ( inclusive of German locations), MTU 22.2%, 20.6% ITP (including a Turkish proportion of TEI).
