The euro region Beskydy is a euro region in the northeastern border between the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. The Euro region is adjacent to the euro region Těšínské Slezsko / EUR Region Slask Cieszyński (Polish )

Formation

It was originally founded in Poland. In it, the border regions of Slovakia and Poland were first united. The Czech region came on April 21, 2000 added by signing ceremony in Frýdek- Místek.

Target

The main objective of the Euro region are common activities for the balanced development of the region, the encounter of residents and institutions. In the latter case should especially information and experiences are exchanged, improving the labor market situation and the economic development will be pursued.
