Euro Star Italia was until June 2012 a train type of the Italian railway company Trenitalia for high -speed trains, which was reorganized by a reclassification into three groups Frecciarossa Frecciargento and Frecciabianca.

Since December 2008, three additional categories or brand names were distinguished within the brand Euro Star Italia. The trains were given a name to the appropriate color. In June 2012, the sub-brands Frecciargento and Frecciarossa from the brand Euro Star Italia were spun off, with Frecciabianca this already happened some time before.
