Eusebio Ayala

Eusebio Ayala ( born August 14, 1875 in Barrero Guasú, today district Eusebio Ayala, † June 4, 1942 in Buenos Aires ) was twice President of Paraguay: November 3, 1921 to April 1, 1923 and by August 15, 1932 until February 17, 1936. He belonged to the Liberal Party. During his second legislature, the country was in the Chaco War against Bolivia, since the victorious outcome for Paraguay carries Ayala in the official Paraguayan historiography the title Presidente de la Victoria.
