Eustace Lycett

Eustace Arden Lycett ( born December 21, 1914 in Stoke -on-Trent, Staffordshire, † November 16, 2006 in Fullerton, California ) was an American special effects artist and two-time Oscar winner, who was one of the most famous Hollywood stars in his field. He began his career at Disney as an assistant to Ub Iwerks and led in later years, several Department of the movie studios. For his work on the multi- plan - camera, he was honored by the AMPAS in 1960 with the Technical Achievement Award.

Life and Wriken

Since his father was a mining engineer, the family had to move a few years after birth Lycetts to Chile, later she returned to England to emigrate in 1929 to California. There he studied at Caltech Mechanical Engineering to later pursue a job in the aircraft or the oil industry.
