Euzko Gaztedi

Euzko Gaztedi (EGI ) ( in Basque: Basque youth movement ) is the youth wing of the Eusko Alderdi Jeltzalea / Partido Nacionalista Vasco ( EAJ / PNV ). It is particularly common in the Basque country and here in the Basque Autonomous Community of Navarre and northern Basque country.

Objectives

According to its statutes it defines itself as a Basque organization who want to achieve independence in a democratic, pluralistic, participatory ways and want to establish a framework of respect for the identity of peoples and human rights.

  • Gaztetxoak, leisure group.
  • Ausartu euskaraz, cultural group to promote Basque language
