Eva ( reference Title: Eva - feelings you can not program ) is a Spanish science fiction film directed by Kike Maíllo from 2011 with Daniel Brühl, Marta Etura and Claudia Vega in the lead roles.
Action
Different types of robots accompany people in their lives. There are robotic pets or robots in human form, which can run the household. Alex Garel is a specialist in the programming of emotions in robots. He comes after ten years back in his former home, so he was asked by Julia from the College of robotics to assist in the programming of a robot in the form of children. There he meets on Lana, his childhood sweetheart. She works as a lecturer at the University and now lives with David, Alex's brother, together. Alex moved into the house of his parents, is vacant since the death of his father in order to work there.
Looking for a suitable child as a pattern for his programming of emotions for the robot, he meets by chance on the ten-year Eve. It turns out that Eva is the daughter of Lana and David. Alex begins to work with Eva, but Eva's mother would not like it. However, Eve sneaks continue without her mother's knowledge about Alex.
Alex developed a programming and testing this with a robotic prototypes. When he is aggressive and one day Alex threatened, Alex has him with the question " What do you see when you close your eyes? " Disable. His work suffers a setback.
At a party, Alex and Lana come closer. David observed this and it comes to a scuffle between the two men. Alex decides then to leave his home again and not finish the project. Lana tries to calm her, but Eve fights back. Here Lana accidentally falls down a cliff. Eva can still run back to the house Alex breaks on there again together. Lana later dies from injuries of the fall in the hospital.
Julia reported Alex from the fact that Lana has led a robot project that Alex had left ten years ago to end it and Eve was created. Publication
The film was screened at various film festivals and was launched on 28 October 2011 in the Spanish cinema. In Germany the film was not running at the movies, but was released straight to DVD in 2012. With a production budget of around 7 million euro of the film at the box office played only about 1.2 million euros, most of which are in Spain.
