Eva Bulling-Schröter

Maria Eva Bulling -Schröter, born Bulling ( born February 22, 1956 in Ingolstadt ) is a German politician (The Left ).

Life and career

Eva Bulling -Schröter attended a grammar school until 1974 and then worked in various establishments of trade and metal processing. Then she graduated from 1979 to 1981 trained as a Betriebsschlosserin and then worked in a metal factory. Later, she was full-time employee of the IG construction aggregate and changed in 1985 as Montageschlosserin in operation for spinning machines, where she also worked as a volunteer staff representative.

In March 2011, her husband died, Thomas Schröter, to whom she was married for the second since 1992.

Party

From 1974 she was a member of the DKP, but resigned in 1990 in the PDS. In 2000, she was the Bavarian spokeswoman.

Eva Bulling -Schröter belongs to the party internally ecological platform and is environmentally spokeswoman for her party.

She is a member of the advisory board of the company's critical network Coalition against Bayer Dangers.

In July 2007 it was placed as a candidate for the office of mayor in Ingolstadt at the municipal election in 2008 by the District Association of Ingolstadt, while it reached 2.98% of the vote.

Member of Parliament

From 1994 to 2002, and since 2005 she is a member of the German Bundestag. Here was Eva Bulling -Schröter and is environmental spokesperson and representative for animal welfare of the PDS parliamentary party ( 1994-1998: Group of the PDS ) and the Left Party. In this function it occurs in particular for a faster phase out nuclear power, increased use of renewable energies and the principle of sustainability -oriented use of natural resources.

Since November 2009 she has been Chair of the Committee for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. Between 2005 and 2009 she was the vice-chair. She is a founding member of the Parliamentary group free -flowing rivers.

Eva Bulling -Schröter is always drawn on a state list Bavaria in the Bundestag. My constituency is Ingolstadt.
