Eva Kreisky

Hannelore Eva Kreisky, born Zgraja ( born September 8, 1944 in Vienna) is an Austrian law and political scientist.

Life

Kreisky studied law at the University of Vienna and received his doctorate in 1971. She completed a post-graduate studies in political science at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, where she also worked as an assistant from 1972 to 1978. From 1979 to 1989 she headed the Department of Political Science. 1986/87 Kreisky was habilitated. From 1989 to 1993 she was C3 - Professor of Political Science with special emphasis on women's studies at the Otto Suhr Institute of the Free University of Berlin. From 1993 she was a visiting professor of politics of gender relations at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Vienna, since 1995 she has been a full professor there. Since 2007 she is a member of the University Council of the University of Innsbruck.

Priorities in scientific work are Kreisky bureaucracy theory, political theory, feminism, political theory and the history of ideas.

Eva Kreisky was up to his death with the political scientist Peter Kreisky, son of the former Austrian Chancellor Bruno Kreisky, married. Both were active in the sixties of the Association of Socialist middle school students.
