Eva Kurowski

Eva Kurowski (* 1965 in Oberhausen ) is a German jazz musician and singer.

Life

Kurowskis father Walter is a jazz musician, playing in many clubs in the Ruhr, (K -14 in Oberhausen, Blue Note in Eisenheim ), so that his daughter was constantly surrounded as a child of jazz. From 1982, Kurowski himself sang and learned to know many musicians, including their sponsors Helge Schneider. In 1983, she was with him and Uwe Lyko regularly on stage.

In Stangenfieber, Helge Schneider's first short film, she sang the theme music and played the second lead role. By working on this film Kurowski met the filmmaker he know and Decorated in its Mülheim Film Club 69, the opening act. Under the leadership of Alfred Edel, she worked with in television broadcasts.

Music

Kurowski writes music and lyrics itself is based on a classic, often playful jazz sound.
