Eva Moser

Eva Moser ( born July 26, 1982 in Tamsweg) is an Austrian chess master.

Since her school years Eva Moser playing chess. It was eight times national champion youth. In 1998, she was Vice - European Champion. Aged under 16 and fifth at the world championships in the same age category After high school she completed a bachelor's degree in business administration in Graz. In 1999 it belonged to the Austrian team at the Mitropa Cup. Moser played in 2000 for the first time in the Austrian women's team at the Chess Olympiad in Istanbul. She wears the only Austrian since 2003 the title of Grand Master of the women ( WGM ) and at the same time an International Master ( since 2004). In 2004 she was at the General State Championship Second and represented Austria at the Chess Olympiad in Calvia 2004 on board one of the general team.

Her biggest success so far was her National Championship title in 2006 in general tournament. In the same year she also won the Austrian team championship with her club Styria Graz. 2010 and 2011 she won the Austrian State Women's Championship. In the German Women's Bundesliga is reported for the OSG Baden -Baden. In January 2014 she won a GM tournament in Augsburg and achieved their first ( male ) Grandmaster norm.

Your current Elo rating is 2425 (as of January 2014). This makes it the best Austrian chess player and No. 25 in the world ranking of the best chess players.
