Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cameroon

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon ( English Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cameroon, abbreviated OSEELC, French L' Eglise au Cameroun Evangélique Luthérienne ) is a Protestant church in Cameroon.

It was founded during the German colonial period in German - Cameroon Cameroonian section as the German Lutheran Church.

The church was in the 19th and especially the 20th century, active in Cameroon and was responsible for liaising with other institutions to pursue the development in Cameroon. Such a program in which the Protestant church was involved, was the establishment of the Protestant Hospital of Ngaundere in the 1950s. Today they are still connected to the HIV / AIDS department of the hospital.
