Evanílson Aparecido Ferreira

Evanilson (2006)

Evanilson ( born September 12, 1975 in Diamantina; civil Evanilson Aparecido Ferreira ) is a former Brazilian footballer.

His youth clubs were América Belo Horizonte and EC Santa Tereza, then was Cruzeiro, his first stop as a professional. Evanilson moved in August 1999 to Borussia Dortmund, where he made a name as strong offensively rights defenders.

Although Evanilson to 2005 played in Dortmund, his contract situation was not so clear: His compatriot Márcio Amoroso joined in 2001 for 25 million Euros from FC Parma at Borussia Dortmund. In return Evanilson was sold for 17.5 million euros to Parma. Both sums were offset accounting reasons and the BVB had an annual rental fee of 250,000 euros. 2003 reached a contractual clause with the Italians, so that the Dortmunder Evanilson had to buy for 15 million euros. In April 2005 Evanilsons contract due to serious injuries (eg cruciate ligament) was dissolved prematurely and he moved to Atletico Mineiro free transfer to Brazil.

There he could not fulfill his two-year contract. It came because of repeated absence of salary payments to a legal dispute, which had the consequence that the contract was terminated and Evanilson could change during the 2005/06 season free transfer on 1 FC Cologne. He signed a contract until the end of the season, which was not extended. He then moved to Atletico Paranaense in Brazil. There he played until February 2007. Then he switched to Sport Club do Recife where his contract expired on December 31, 2007. His most recent club was then EC Vitória, since Evanilson is without a club.
