Evanna Lynch
Evanna Lynch (born 16 August 1991, Termonfeckin, County Louth, Ireland) is an Irish actress and model. It was her role as Luna Lovegood known in the film adaptations of the Harry Potter novels.
Life and career
Lynch, who has never taken acting classes, was at an open casting selected in 2006 for the role of Luna Lovegood and gave in 2007 in the film version of the fifth Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix made her film debut. After a meeting and have a long talk with Joanne K. Rowling said this, that Lynch "perfect" fit for the role of Luna.
She lives with her father Donal, mother Marguerite her, her two sisters Máiréad and Emily and her younger brother Patrick in her birthplace. She attended to June 2004, the Cartown National School, a public primary school in Termonfeckin. Then she went to Our Lady's College, a Catholic girls' school in Drogheda, County Louth.
In 2008, she studied drama at the Centre for the Talented Youth of Ireland, a summer school in Glasnevin, Dublin. During the filming of Harry Potter times she received at least three hours of private lessons per day. From September 2010, Lynch attended the Institute of Education in Dublin, for her to repeat Irish Leaving Certificate.
