Evans Wise

Evans Wise ( born November 23, 1973 in Bell Vue, St Joseph, Port of Spain, Trinidad ) is a soccer player from Trinidad and Tobago.

Club career

Evans Wise played in the Youth in Cultural United FC in Trinidad and Tobago, before he moved to the U.S. due to his studies. Here he was in 1994 elected as the Most Valuable Player in college football. After his college years, he joined the 1st round draft selection to the Tampa Bay Mutiny in the U.S. Major League Soccer, where he later also played for the New England Revolution.

In 1999, Wise in the Bundesliga for SSV Ulm 1846. Here he came up with nine appearances in the German top flight. After the descent of the Ulm from the first division, he joined the third division SV Elversberg. As of 2004, Wise played for second division Wacker Burghausen before in the same year to Trinidad and Tobago returned to Joe Public FC. 2005 Evans Wise came back to Germany and signed with Oberliga SV Waldhof Mannheim. This he left in the winter break of the 2006/07 season again and ended his career. On 14 March 2012, he announced after four years of absence, his comeback in the PDL club Fredericksburg Hotspur. On January 18, 2013, he joined the RVA Football Club, which is coached by Grover Gibson.

National

Evans Wise was national player of Trinidad and Tobago and was part of the squad for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. Here he moved in for the injured Silvio Spann after. He played in his eleven-year Nationalmannschaftsgaspiel, 19 caps and scored three goals.

Private

Wise studied from 1994 to 1995 at the prestigious Mercer County Community College and gained a degree in Associate of Arts.
