Eve 6

Eve 6 is a rock band from Southern California, who disbanded in 2004, but in 2007 with a new cast, and finally reported back in March 2011 with the original cast. Your music is often attributed to the alternative or punk rock. On 3 May 2012, the band signed a deal with Fearless Records.

Career

The band formed in 1995 under the name Eleventeen in La Crescenta, California. The name Eve 6 she attended until they were looking for a drummer and found him in Tony Fagenson. This was a big X-Files fan, and selected on the basis of a figure from the episode Eve the band's name Eve 6 In 1996, they are still as Eleventeen their first EP out. Two years later, the trio released their first, self-titled studio album Eve 6 on the U.S. market. The first single Inside Out was a hit and debuted at # 1 on the U.S. Modern Rock Charts. Since Eve 6 with no other single had such success, they are now seen by many as a one hit wonder. Other singles were Leech and Open Road Song. The second album Horroscope 2000 could reach due to the success of the singles Promise and Here's To The Night Gold status. 2003 then appeared the third and final LP It's All In Your Head, which could be apart from the single Inside Out, hardly sell. In March 2003, the cooperation on the part of the label RCA was terminated with the band, which soon after led to the breakup of the band. On October 6, 2007 they claimed on their myspace page that they will again occur immediately together as Eve 6.

On 31 January 2012, the band released after a long time the new single Lost & Found.

On 28 February 2012, the Single Victoria was published, the corresponding music video was released on 17 April 2012.

On April 24, 2012, the fourth studio album Speak In Code appeared, for the first time under the label Fearless Records.

Sugi Tap

Sugi Tap is the project of Max Collins and Tony Faginson which musically a similar way as Eve 6 is launched in May 2005. To date, however, there are only tickets and demo recordings of the duo. The name is derived from the Japanese film Battle Royale.
