Even Pellerud

Even Jostein Pellerud ( born July 15, 1953) is a Norwegian football coach and former player. Since January 2013, he re-trained the Norwegian national football team of women.

Coaching career

In 1989 Pellerud Norway took over women's football team. In the Football Championship of Women 1993, he was able to win with the Norwegians the European title. Previously, he had come in 1991 with his team to the finals. At Euro 1995 Norway already retired from the semi-finals. After winning the silver medal at the Olympics in 1996 Pellerud left the team. However, his greatest success was winning the World Cup of Women 1995.

In 1999 Pellerud took over the Canadian women 's national soccer team, which he led with 4th place at the FIFA Women's World Cup 2003 to their biggest success to date. In the summer of 2008, he led Canada to a first Olympic participation. From 2009 to 2012, he was coach of the women's teams of Trinidad and Tobago.
