Evendale is a village of 3,090 inhabitants ( 2000 census ) in Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. It is 18 km north of Cincinnati.
History
In the 19th century Evendale was a station of the Underground Railroad with the slave smugglers John Van Zandt.
GE Aviation is headquartered in the village and is a very important employer. It produces in Evendale since 1949 aircraft engines, then the General Electric J47.
