Everett Silvertips

The Everett Silvertips are an ice hockey team from Everett, Washington state. The team plays since 2003 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League ( WHL).

History

The Everett Silvertips were founded before the 2003/04 season as a franchise in the Western Hockey League. In their first season they reached the final straightaway to the Ed Chynoweth Cup, in which they, however, in the best- of-seven series, the Medicine Hat Tigers subject with a sweep. Although the Silvertips have so far reached the playoffs every year, they could their dominance of the first year in their division ( they won the U.S. Division in 2004, 2006 and 2007 ) are not maintained and they finished last twice on the fourth and last place thus.
