Everlyn Sampi

Everlyn Sampi ( born October 6, 1988 in Derby, Western Australia ) - actually Evelyn Leemarie Sampi - is an Australian actress.

Life and work

Everlyn Sampi grew up together with her younger sister and her three older brothers up in an Aboriginal community in Djarindjin. During her time at the Anglican Community High School in Western Australia, she was cast by director Phillip Noyce for his film Rabbit-Proof Fence, in which she played the role of Molly Craig. She won at the fourth Annual Lexus IF Award on 6 November 2002, the award for "Best Actress ".
