Everton Weekes

Sir Everton Weekes de Courcy KCMG, OBE ( born February 26, 1925 in St Michael, Barbados ) is a former West Indian cricketer. He was known along with Clyde Walcott and Frank Worrell as the "Three Ws ".

Career

Everton Weekes denied during his career for the team of West Indies 48 encounters in Test cricket when he scored a total of 4455 runs ( 58.61 runs per wicket ). He is one of only seven West Indian players during their Test career achieved an average of at least 50 runs per wicket. His Test debut, he celebrated in January 1948 against England in Bridgetown, Barbados.
