Evidon

Evidon is a technology company, which is headquartered in New York City. It develops software for publishers, ad networks and companies in order to provide these insights into consumer behavior. It offers the clients also software which allows to detect and control these so-called tracking systems.

Company History

Evidon was founded in 2009 by Scott Meyer, Colin O'Malley and Ed Kozek. The Company is an investment of Warburg Pincus.

The company acquired in 2010, developed by David Cancel in January 2009 Ghostery Browser Tool, a software that alerts the user when browsing the Internet to these hidden services (tracker ). These services normally run by the user silently in the background and will have to transmit private data to different site operators. Ghostery provides the ability to block them permanently, in order to better protect privacy on the Internet. Evidon in addition to its headquarters in New York an office in San Francisco and since 2011 for the European area in London.

Evidon provides international software solutions for online marketers, agencies, publishers and companies. The product " Evidon InForm " for example, contains a platform for companies that supports easy navigation through self-regulation for online advertising. " Evidon Encompass " tracker can recognize and tags that affect the page load time or cause other unwanted effects. " Evidon InLight " helps the user to detect data leakage and to identify which companies are trying to collect data from their sites.

Evidon is a member of the Online Trust Alliance (OTA ).
