Evoluon

The Evoluon is a by architect Louis Christiaan Kalff for their 75-year existence designed for the Philips building in Eindhoven. It consists of a prestressed concrete structure of 77 meters in diameter, which are reminiscent of a futuristic shape in the center landed alien spacecraft. In the rooms opened in 1966, one by James Gardner designed on behalf of Philips Museum. In the foyer of the robotic installation Evoluon Senster was issued.

The museum was closed in 1989 due to the decline in visitor numbers. From 1993 to 1998, the Evoluon housed an exhibition of Philips products. 1994 was supplemented by an annex with conference facilities and expanded to the conference center.
