Évran

Évran ( Breton: Evrann ) is a commune with 1709 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Côtes- d'Armor, in the Brittany region.

The city is located on the Canal d' Ille -et -Rance, which establishes a navigable link between Rennes and Saint- Malo. The channel today but more important for tourism. About one kilometer northwest of the city rivers flow Rance from the left and from the right Linon into the channel. The channelized subsequently course of the river Rance from here is part of the Canal d' Ille -et -Rance.
